The birth of Ava DuVernay occurred on August 24 on the 24th of August, 1972, in Long Beach California. DuVernay learned to love art from the aunt Denise. She was an intern with CBS News at the time of the O.J. Simpson trial. DuVernay was assigned to the look-out and search for the house for a specific Jury member. As a result of her work she was dissatisfied with journalistic work and entered the public relations industry. DuVernay was employed by a tiny studio as a Junior Publicist immediately after graduation. Her own Public Relations company, The DuVernay Agency was founded in 1999. The company launched a number of lifestyle and promotion networks that include Urban Beauty Collective and Urban Eye.
