Paula Faris
Paula Faris, an American journalist, was
previously a TV correspondent for ABC News. Her most well-known work is her
role as co-anchor on Good Morning America Weekend from 2015 to 2018, and
hosting The View from 2015 to the year 2018. In the past, she anchors World
News Now as well as America This Morning. After graduating, she worked in
several communications-related jobs including an operations position at
Mills/James Productions in Columbus, Ohio. Due to the lack of TV opportunities,
she worked in sales for radio. Her next job was one year as a producer
assistant at WKEF/WRGT and later occasionally anchor and report. She was the
weekend anchor for WCPO TV in Cincinnati, and the anchor for weekdays for WCPO
TV in Cincinnati between 2002 and 2005. Her contract was terminated , and she
became a reporter and anchor for NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV, Chicago, from November
2005 to December 2011. In December 2011 she was hired by ABC News, the news
division of ABC. The first time she appeared on ABC News was on January 2, 2012
for ABC's World News Now, and America This Morning. She was also on Good
Morning America's fill-in show, Good Morning America, on January 2, 2012.
Later, she was appointed a New York-based reporter for all ABC News programs.
The program was not able for her to be able to make it to the final episode of
World News Now or America This Morning. It was on January 22 2013. After Bianna
Golodryga was transferred to Yahoo!, her debut as co-anchor on Good Morning
America Weekend was on August 9, 2014. News. News. On August 3 in 2016 it was
announced they have renewed her contract for the 20th season. Season 21 also
got renewed with co-hosting duties. She was most visible in the 22nd and 21st
seasons of the series.
