Robin Gayle

Robin Gayle Wright was born to Gayle (Gaston) who was the national Director of Mary Kay and Freddie Wright. She was raised in San Diego. At the age of 14, she began her professional career as a model. She worked in Paris and Japan. After graduating from high school, she made the choice to become an actress. She was cast in the soap opera Santa Barbara (1984), for which she was nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy. Dane Witherspoon was her fellow cast member, and she was married to Dane in 1986. She also appeared in The Princess Bride (1987), playing the title role. After leaving the cast in Santa Barbara, she got the lead role in Denial (1990) with Jason Patric. In 1990, she was in State of Grace (1990), where she got to know actor Sean Penn, by whom she had a daughter named Dylan Frances, and a son, Hopper Jack. Robin came back to Hollywood after a break with one of her most famous parts: Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was absolutely stunning and amazing. She then appeared in Toys (1992) with Robin Williams, and she delivered a hilarious performance. Wright was in the blockbuster success Forrest Gump (1994), acting alongside Tom Hanks. For her performance in the film as Jenny Wright, she received nominated for a Golden Globe Award. The film offered her a small part in The Crossing Guard (1995) along with Jack Nicholson. After being rejected for 14 roles, she was offered the lead role in MGM/UA’s Moll Flanders (1996). The movie was directed by Pen Densham and featured Morgan Freeman, Stockard Channing, and Morgan Freeman. She then starred in Erin Dignam's Loved (1997) co-starring William Hurt.
