Rena Sherel SOFER is an American actress from the United States. Her roles include daytime television, episodic guest performances, and TV-produced films. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap drama General Hospital. She has been acting as Quinn Fuller since 2013 on CBS the soap drama The Bold and The Beautiful. Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) to Susan Sofer and Martin Sofer. Martin Sofer is a Conservative Rabbi. Following the divorce of her parents, her family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1970, Sofer and her brother David and her father to Teaneck in New Jersey. They lived in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. Their family lived in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Later, she attended the Frisch School, a coeducational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high school in Paramus, New Jersey. Sofer was born in North Bergen, New Jersey. Her father was the rabbi at Temple Beth El. After graduation from North Bergen High School in 1998, she pursued her studies at Montclair State College. Sofer was the first to perform as Lois Marie Cerullo at General Hospital. In 1993, she was the manager of the band. Her first role on television was that of Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap host on the opera. Perhaps her most famous role is Lois Cerullo, a nurse on General Hospital from December 15, 1993 to September 24 1997. Later she returned to the show as a guest (February 7 1997 to September 30 (1997) October 2 1997 October 2, 1997 - October 2, 1997). Sofer was awarded a Daytime Emmy Award 1995 for Outstanding Supporting Artistress in Drama Series for her portrayal of Lois. Sofer was asked to join CBS' soap show The Bold and the Beautiful in the new role in the role of Quinn Fuller. Her first episode aired on July 12. Sofer has been a guest star/supporting cast member in a number of top-rated primetime TV shows, including Seinfeld and Melrose Place. Her first episode aired on July 12.
