Aaron Jeffery

  Aaron C. Jeffery is a Logie Award-winning New Zealand-Australian actor. His characters include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He was also the character Matt "FletchThe Fletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and he moved to Australia at the age of 17 years old. He was a student at NIDA. After graduating from NIDA He began his television career on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is well-known for his character Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters which was cancelled in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery was also on screen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. The filming ended on the 22nd of June. The casting announcement for Neighbours' Bradley Fox was announced three days later. In October, it was announced that Jeffery had been assigned as a Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also his role. In April 2021 it was announced that Jeffery would star in Pieces of Her, a Netflix thriller series adapted from the Karin Slaughter book. For his performance in McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama Series Actor in 2004 and 2007.
