Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching, born March 28 1977 was an American actor best known for her role in 24 and the voice work that she provided for Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She was a graduate of Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. As a child she competed as an Irish dancer as well as a member of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. She holds completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by appearing as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Then she went on to star in guest roles on shows like Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. She played the role of Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's Daytime soap show General Hospital from March 2007 until November 2007. Her other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching was also a guest on several roles on television shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. In 2014, she was a regular series regular for Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the catcher role for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that, in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching played the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitterprior to when she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 December 7, 2012. Wersching would be playing the character of the Borg Queen on Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
